I think of my work like a prism.

A prism takes a single beam of light- something that looks ordinary at first glance- and transforms it into colors you can finally see. That’s what great communication does.

It doesn’t change what’s true. It reveals what matters. It turns complexity into clarity, and clarity into connection. This work has deep roots. Thirty years ago, it began as a media training practice built for high-stakes moments- founded by my mom, a television broadcast producer who understood how quickly a message can be misunderstood…and how powerful it can be when it’s delivered well. Over time, as the world changed- technology, attention spans, the speed of news, the pressure on leaders- our work evolved too.

Today, I use a proven five-step method (and the principles beneath it) to help leaders and teams communicate like humans in moments that actually matter- whether they’re preparing for a sensitive announcement, aligning an organization around “one voice,” stepping onto a stage, or trying to explain something complex in a way people will remember and repeat.

And that’s the point: communication only matters if people can carry it with them.

I’m lucky, I get to work with some of the brightest minds and most successful leaders in the world, in person and virtually: executives, scientists, doctors, engineers, researchers, innovators, and builders across industries.
